• PU-foamed sectional doors are available with 42 mm thick panels and with thermal break sections. Shakti Hormann sectional doors are especially robust and offers good thermal insulation. The surface finish of the sections of steel doors or doors with bottom sections is based on hot galvanized sheet steel and a high-adhesion primer coating (2-component PUR) that protect the door against adverse effects of the weather. Available in Stucco surface finish for orange peel effect.

THERMAL INSULATION

• Minimal thermal bridges and use of fine-pored PU rigid foam infill ensure good thermal insulation in all double skinned door profiles compared with other rolling shutters.

ACOUSTIC INSULATION

• The door’s curtain and sealing technology reduce noise from both outside and inside.

SEALING

• Double-skinned DD and classic rolling shutters have all-round sealing. This is ensured by a frost-proof flexible lip seal along the bottom edge, a brush seal at the lintel optimally adapted to the door size, as well as a fine bristle seal in the side guides.

• Robust wink locks and deflection resistant bottom profiles enable your door to withstand high wind loads.
